Rajavarma Bhyrraju, Ericsson
Rajavarma Bhyrraju is a Portfolio Architect for Standards and Open-Source models in Ericsson in OSS. Working in Solutions, Technology, Architecture and Evolution area in Ericsson, he is involved in the transformation of OSS products with emerging technologies and trends in the software, telecommunications and network management. He is currently serving as Vice-Chair of ETSI-NFV IFA (Interfaces and Architecture) Working Group.

Guangjing Cao is from China Mobile Communications Corporation(CMCC), mainly engaged in cloud computing, cloud native and other related research. Meanwhile, in 3GPP SA5, involved in related aspects of normative work.
Caroline Chappell, Analysis Mason
Caroline heads Analysys Mason's Cloud and Platform Services practice. Her research focuses on service provider adoption of cloud to deliver business services, support digital transformation and re-architect fixed and mobile networks for the 5G era. She is a leading exponent of the edge computing market and its impact on service provider network deployments and new revenue opportunities. She monitors public cloud provider strategies for the telecoms industry and investigates how key cloud platform services can enhance service provider value. Caroline is a leading authority on the application of cloud-native technologies to the network and helps telecoms customers to devise strategies that exploit the powerful capabilities of cloud while mitigating its disruptive effects.
Hui Deng, Huawei
Hui DENG obtained his doctor degree from dept. computer science and technology at Tsinghua University in 2002. From 2002 to 2007, he was the chief researcher in Hitachi. He joined the China Mobile Research since 2007 and acted as CTO of network department. By that time, he was the co-chair of IETF MIF working group, representing the board of director of WBA(Wireless Broadband Alliance) and OPNFV, also 1st board of chairman of OPEN-O which later was evolve into ONAP. Hui DENG joined Huawei in 2016, and is serving as the chief of standard for 5GC/IMS/NFV/MEC. He has been elected as the vice chairman of ETSI NFV ISG in 2019.
Lingli Deng, China Mobile
Lingli Deng, Doctor of Engineering (Chinese Academy of Sciences), is working as Director Researcher of Standards and Industrial Collaboration at AI & Intelligent Operation Center, China Mobile Research Institute (CMRI). Her major job respnosibilities include:
1.Develop and carry out the company’s industrial promotion program for Network Intelligence and Autonomous Network transformation.
2.Host and operate network transformation and intelligent operation industrial initiatives and open source community.
3.Formulate relevant enterprise, international and industry standards.
Katsuhiro Horiba, SoftBank Corp.
Joined SoftBank Corp in 2015 working as a Keio University Research Associate and non-tenured Associate Professor. Completed Keio University's doctoral program in the latter half of 2019 and earned a Ph.D. in Policy and Media.
Ulrich Kleber, Huawei
Uli Kleber is a Chief Standardization Expert in Huawei’s European Research Institute. During 37 years of work experience at Siemens, NSN and Huawei, he was a system architect in all areas of telecommunication systems developing technology, architectures and strategies according to customer requirements and business goals. He was part of several industry initiatives, including the Service Availability Forum, Scope Alliance, OpenSAF, OPNFV, ETSI ISG ZSM, ETSI ISG MEC. He joined ETSI ISG NFV at its beginning and served as vice chair of the EVE working group and liaison officer for NFV to Anuket and ETSI MEC, before becoming the technical manager (TSC chair) in 2022.
Besides ETSI ISG NFV he contributes to ETSI ISG MEC, GSMA OPG and to Anuket.
Diego Lopez, Telefonica
Diego R. Lopez joined Telefonica I+D in 2011 as a Senior Technology Expert, and is currently in charge of the Technology Exploration activities within the GCTIO Unit. Before joining Telefónica he spent some years in the academic sector, dedicated to research on network services, and was appointed member of the High-Level Expert Group on Scientific Data Infrastructures by the European Commission. Diego is currently focused on applied research in network infrastructures, with a special emphasis on virtualization, data-driven management, new architectures, security, and quantum communications. Diego is an ETSI Fellow and chairs the ETSI ISGs ZSM (on network automation) and the NOC of ETSI ISG NFV. Apart from this, Diego is a more than acceptable Iberian ham carver, and extremely fond of seeking and enjoying comics, and good discussions on any (in)appropriate matter.

Serge Manning, T-Mobile USA
Serge Manning is a veteran of the telecommunications industry having spent over 20 years working for both service providers and manufacturers. With a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, Dr. Manning has sought to master the intricacies of new technologies throughout his career, which includes stints at Sprint Corporation, Huawei Technologies, and Nortel Networks. Today, he collaborates with other technical teams at T-Mobile USA on various security standards and requirements, including Open Radio Access Network virtualization security requirements.
Dr. Manning has held numerous positions of leadership (including officer) in organizations such as 3GPP2, WiMAX Forum, Open Networking Forum, ETSI NFV and ETSI ZSM, currently serving as Vice-Chair of ETSI NFVSEC (Network Function Virtualization Security) Working Group.
Arturo Martin de Nicolas, Ericsson LM
Arturo Martin de Nicolas is an active member of the ETSI NFV SOL and IFA working groups and currently the chairman of the former one. He joined Ericsson in 1990 and has over 30 years of professional experience in the telecommunications industry, having dedicated part of his career to the development of standards in ETSI NFV, ITU-T, 3GPP, IMTC, DMTF, OASIS TOSCA, O-RAN and other SDOs. Arturo has held several systems management and product management positions in areas like mobile communications, visual communications, traffic dimensioning or function virtualization. He is based in Aachen and has worked previously in Sweden, Finland, US and Spain. He holds a Master degree in Telecommunications Engineering by the Universidad Politécnica of Madrid.
Hans Raj Nahata - Verizon Communications
Hans Raj Nahata is a Director of Network Technology Strategy & Planning responsible for Network Automation & Orchestration Planning at Verizon. This includes Wireless and Wireline VNFs - 4G Network, Virtualized RAN, and the 5G Network functions. Hans and his team set vision and plans for network orchestration, service assurance, and closed-loop automation to bring cost-effective and high-quality services to Verizon customers. Over two decades ago Hans began his career with NYNEX Science and Technology as a researcher in Speech Recognition. He enjoys teaching and has taught Math, CS, and Operation Management courses at NJIT and other local colleges. Hans studied MBA in Operations Management from NYU, and Masters in Operations Research from Columbia University. He is very passionate about the applications of technology and science, holds over 40 patents, and has a strong interest in recreational mathematics. He resides in New Jersey with his wife and two amazing kids.
Yosihiro Nakajima, NTT DOCOMO
I joined NTT DOCOMO in 2017 as a manager of the network virtualization platform, network management, and orchestration group, core network development department. Since then, I've been involved in the commercial development of NFV infrastructure and MANO system for mobile core network systems, and NFV standardization in ETSI NFV and O-RAN. I am currently working on the commercial development, standardization, and future study of network virtualization of core NW and RAN in NTT DOCOMO as the director of the network virtualization platform group. I have been ETSI NFV ISG Chairman since 2022.
Tetsuya Nakamura, AWS
Tetsuya Nakamura serves as Telecom Specialist Solutions Architect Leader at Amazon Web Services (AWS). Before joining AWS, Tetsuya worked at CableLabs and NTT DOCOMO where he was working on standardization effort at the ETSI NFV ISG as ISG Vice Chair.
Janusz Pieczerac, Orange
Janusz Pieczerak works for Orange Innovation Poland as a researcher in the area of virtualized software infrastructures for telecommunication networks. His experience in standardization covers ITU-T SG11 with the scope of signalling protocols for NGN, ITU-T SG13 in the areas of cloud computing, big data and future networks and ETSI ISG NFV for NFV-MANO architecture and interfaces.

Udi Schwager, Wind River
Udi Schwager is representing Wind River at O-RAN Alliance, contributing Wind River’s experience in commercial cloud deployments and leading O-RAN Plugfest collaboration with partners. He has over 20 years of experience in R&D in a variety of fields, cellular communication, telecom access solutions, cyber security, medical devices and cloud based solutions.
He joined Wind River as a Senior Cloud Solution Architect in 2019, and has since been an active member of O-RAN contributing to WG6, WG10 and WG11, leading the Notification API in the O-RAN Architecture.
Jean Schwoerer, NGMN
Jean Schwoerer holds a PhD in electronics from the University of Rennes-1 and is currently in charge of research domains operation for Orange. He is member of 6G project in NGMN and was delegate for the Orange group in 3GPP RAN1 & 2.
Pablo Serrano, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid
Pablo Serrano is an Associate Professor at the University Carlos III de Madrid, where he currently serves as the Assistant Department Head for teaching affairs and as the Director of the Master in Connected Industry 4.0. He has over 100 scientific papers in peer-reviewed international journals and conferences. He has held visiting positions at institutions such as the University of Massachusetts Amherst, the University of Edinburgh, or Trinity College Dublin. He currently serves as Editor for IEEE Open Journal of the Communication Society and as Guest Editor for IEEE Communications Magazine. His research interests lie in the analysis of wireless networks and the design of network protocols and systems.
Frederic Thepot, Dell Technologies
Frederic is the director of a dedicated group of leading telecom engineers and elite Dell Technologies specialists called the "Co-Innovation Expert Center". This global team leverages specialist engineering resources to work hand-in-hand with customers’ and partners’ engineers. Collaborating in Dell Technologies telecom-focused lab facilities, as well as customer and partner labs. We focus on finding solutions to some of the biggest challenges in delivering the open IT infrastructure for the next generation of telecom solutions.
Prior to joining Dell TSB, Frederic worked for NTT Docomo as Director of European Laboratories leading 4G and 5G strategic initiatives like 3GPP standardization, ETSI, GSMA and 5GAA.
Joan Triay, DOCOMO Euro-Labs
Dr. Joan Triay is a network architect and manager at DOCOMO Euro-Labs, in Munich, Germany, which he joined in 2012, and where he is currently involved in standardization and development activities spanning different areas such as network virtualization, cloudification, mobile communication networks, and 5G network management. Joan joined the ETSI NFV from the very beginning (2013) and has been participating actively in developing the NFV concepts and standards. In the ETSI NFV, Joan has served in various roles such as work item Rapporteur and as ISG's (Assistant) Technical Manager between 2014 and 2022. Joan holds a Ph.D. in Telematics Engineering (Computer Networks) (2011) from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), Spain.
Ildikó Váncsa, Open Infrastructure Foundation
Ildikó is working for the Open Infrastructure Foundation as Director of Community. As part of her role, she is the Community Manager for the StarlingX open source edge cloud project and a co-leader of the OpenInfra Edge Computing Group. Ildikó has been contributing to projects like OpenStack, Anuket and State of the Edge for over 10 years with focus areas of Telecommunications, NFV and Edge Computing. She is an open source evangelist and is using her experience to help individuals, companies and organizations to learn and get more involved and active in communities.
Leslie Willis, BT plc
Leslie is a Principal Security Authority and Accomplished Engineer within Cyber and Information Security part of BT’s Networks division. Part of Leslie’s responsibility is to provide authoritative direction and thought leadership to BT’s business and security stakeholders on the trajectory for specific area of networks. Leslie acts as a trusted source of security advice and direction for many areas with BT. Over the 26 years with BT Leslie has had roles ranging from web application design, development and testing, through network administration and later into network security design consultancy. As well as working on several large projects within BT, Leslie is also the Chair of the ETSI NFV Security Working Group.
