Don’t miss out on the early bird rate: book before 15 September

ETSI’s User Conference on Advanced Automated Testing (UCAAT) 2016, now in its fourth year, is an annual, international conference dedicated to application aspects of automated testing including model-based, cloud and mobile testing, test methodologies and management and standardized test specification by focusing on the practical challenges that industry often faces.

Organized by ETSI, this year’s event is hosted by Ericsson and Nokia, in partnership with the Hungarian Testing Board, and will take place on 26-28 October 2016 in Budapest.

Migration from manual to automated testing procedures not only provides effective use of human resources but also shortens time-to-market cycles and improves system quality. Agile development approaches, such as SCRUM, KANBAN and Continuous Delivery, cannot be applied without test automation. Hence, test automation and management increasingly become critical and strategic necessities.

The conference will kick-off on 26 October with 4 tutorials of 90 minutes each. The first tutorial will deal with human factors for test automation and industrialisation. The second one will address testing and domain specific modelling with TDL (Test Description Language), ETSI’s latest testing language. The last two tutorials will feature the use of mobile analytics to improve testing and development practice on one hand and address security testing using models and test patterns on the other hand.

The following days, attendees will benefit from presentations by members of the user community, and keynotes from invited speakers. A poster sessions and a vendor track for sponsors will accompany the event. This year’s presentations aim at giving useful insights into Cloud and Big Data, mindset for automation, continuous integration, advanced automation, Model Based Testing or behaviour and context driven developments.

The event is sponsored by Conformiq, Kalifast, Pragmadev, Spirent. But sponsorship opportunities are still available, please check the sponsors’ benefits! Companies sponsoring both Hustef and UCAAT conference benefit from a 20% discount.
