The event highlighted advanced safety use cases, including those for ‘Collective Perception Message (CPM)’ and ‘Vulnerable Road Users (VRU)’, both showcasing the interoperability of C‑ITS platforms with Public Key Infrastructures (PKIs).
Alongside, vendors of On-Board Units (OBUs), Roadside Units (RSUs) and PKIs tested the interoperability of their implementations, to validate their understanding of the ITS standards.
Event partner 5GAA held a workshop on the C-V2X ecosystem and the impact of ETSI ITS Release 2 standards. The workshop featured discussions between key players, from both governmental bodies and manufacturing companies, on 5G-V2X advances, arising security aspects and on the status of integration with Advanced Driving Systems and Automated Driving Systems.
